មណ្ឌលព័ត៌មានស្រ្តីកម្ពុជាជាអង្គការមិនមែនរដ្ឋាភិបាលក្នុងស្រុក មិនរកប្រាក់ចំណេញ ដែលប្រើប្រាស់ប្រព័ន្ធ ផ្សព្វផ្សាយប្រពៃណី និង ទំនើប រួមទាំងកម្មវិធីអប់រំតាមសហគមន៍ ដើម្បី​រួមចំណែកលើកស្ទួយសមភាព យេនឌ័រ តួនាទី និង តម្លៃស្រ្តីនៅក្នុងគ្រួសារ សហគមន៍ និងសង្គមជាតិ ។ មណ្ឌលព័ត៌មានស្ត្រីកម្ពុជាត្រូវ ការជ្រើសរើសបុគ្គលិកចំនួន ១ រូប សម្រាប់មុខដំណែង អ្នកសារព័ត៌មានជាន់ខ្ពស់ ។

១. ផលិតព័ត៌មាន បទយកការណ៍ បទសម្ភាស ព័ត៌មានស៊ីជម្រៅ

 

• ចូលរួមក្នុងកិច្ចប្រជុំផ្តល់យោបល់របស់ក្រុមព័ត៌មាន ។
• ស្រាវជ្រាវ ប្រមូលព័ត៌មាន និង សម្ភាសប្រភពផ្សេងៗ ដើម្បីផលិតព័ត៌មាន ។
• ពិគ្រោះជាមួយការីនិពន្ធ ឬ និពន្ធនាយក លើប្រធានបទ ឬ ព្រឹត្តិការណ៍ដែលត្រូវវិភាគព័ត៌មាន ។
• ផលិតព័ត៌មាន ដែលមានបញ្ចូលសូរស័ព្ទសម្ភាស ។
• ផលិតព័ត៌មានវីដេអូ ។

 

២.  ផលិតព័ត៌មានអន្តរជាតិប្រចាំថ្ងៃ និង កម្មវិធីសំណួរ-ចម្លើយព័ត៌មានអន្តរជាតិ ផ្សាយផ្ទាល់ ១ ខែ ២ ដង ។

 

លក្ខណៈសម្បត្តិ

• សញ្ជាតិខ្មែរ ។
• មានបរិញ្ញាប័ត្រសារព័ត៌មាន ឬ ជំនាញពាក់ព័ន្ធ ។
• មានបទពិសោធន៍ជាអ្នកយកព័ត៌មានវិទ្យុ ឬ ទូរទស្សន៍ ឬ បណ្តាញសង្គម យ៉ាងតិចនៅរយៈពេល ៣ ឆ្នាំចុងក្រោយនេះ ។
• មានបទពិសោធន៍ជោគជ័យក្នុងការផលិតព័ត៌មានទាន់ហេតុការណ៍ បទយកការណ៍ បទសម្ភាសន៍ ព័ត៌មានស៊ីជម្រៅ និង ព័ត៌មានអន្តរជាតិ ។
• ចូលចិត្តតាមដានព័ត៌មាន ពិសេស ព័ត៌មានអំពីស្ត្រី យេនឌ័រ យុវជន កុមារ និង ជនងាយរងគ្រោះ នៅក្នុងសង្គម ។
• ចេះភាសាខ្មែរ និង ប្រើប្រាស់ភាសាខ្មែរច្បាស់លាស់ និយាយ សរសេរ អាន និង ស្ដាប់ ។
• ចេះភាសាអង់គ្លេសកម្រិតខ្ពស់ និង យល់ខ្លឹមសារព័ត៌មានរបស់ទីភ្នាក់ងារសារព័ត៌មានបានត្រឹមត្រូវ ។
• ប្រើប្រាស់ដោយមានប្រសិទ្ធភាពបណ្តាញផ្សព្វផ្សាយសង្គម អ៊ិនធឺណិត និង អ៊ីម៉ែលសម្រាប់ការ ស្រាវជ្រាវ និង ទំនាក់ទំនង ។
• ស្មោះត្រង់នឹងការងារ ចេះធ្វើការជាក្រុម ស្រលាញ់ និង លើកស្ទួយយុត្តិធម៌ក្នុងសង្គម ។
• មានចំណាប់អារម្មណ៍ក្នុងការអភិវឌ្ឍប្រព័ន្ធផ្សព្វផ្សាយឯករាជ្យ វិជ្ជាជីវៈ និង ពង្រឹងសមភាពយេនឌ័រ នៅកម្ពុជា ។

Background      

The Women’s Media Centre of Cambodia is a non-governmental and non-profit organization. Since 1995, WMC has been one of the key institutions in Cambodia working to change social attitudes, by promoting gender equity and equality, women’s empowerment and gender awareness. WMC uses multi-media as a path to achieve empowerment for women, girls, and other vulnerable groups.

 

The organization strives to promote positive behavioral change through four main activities:  the Women’s Radio program, video production, digital multimedia platform, and community-based media outreach and training. We produce high quality radio, daily news, video and online digital material to educate a variety of target audiences, and advocate with and for women and minorities.

WMC reaches approximately 2 million people daily through radio. WMC’s media coverage, especially radio, extends to more than 50% of the population from both urban and rural areas. Rural communities, especially women and girls, may have limited access to electricity, smart phones, and internet, and do not always have access to digital media. In this context, radio continues to be an important source of daily news and information for a substantial part of Cambodia’s population. Additionally, the WMC website and social media have reached out to a substantial number of people. The website has about 40,000 visitors per day, Facebook has 600,000 followers, and YouTube has 200,000 subscribers.

WMC is seeking for a dynamic, professional, and qualified Cambodian for the position of Senior News Reporter.  Qualified women are strongly encouraged to apply.

Position:                            Senior News Reporter

Location:                            Phnom Penh

Work Status:                    Full Time

Job Summary:                  The Senior News Reporter is responsible for producing local and international daily news for WMC.

Duties

1. Produce daily news/ feature/interview/in- dept story

• Attend editorial meetings;
• Gather information, materials and interviews from sources to prepare daily news in consultation with News Editor or Editor in Chief;
• Research and develop story by himself/herself by consultation with News Editor or Editor in Chief;
• Consult with News Editor or Editor in Chief on newsworthy topics or event to research, analyses and draft report;
• Produce written news with standard sound clip;
• Produce video news;
• Submit to Editor before deadline;
• Read the news and be MC for news programme;
• Follow the weekly, monthly and annual workplan of News session;
• Improve journalism and social skills as needed with professional orientation;

2. Produce International news

• Produce daily international news;
• Update international news twice per month by Q & A live broadcast;
• Translate English version to Khmer if needed;

3. Participate as trainer in Journalism skills training as assigned by Supervisor if needed

• Train youth target group on basic Journalism skills;
• Lead them to produce and edit script;
• Develop the report;

Requirements

• Cambodian nationality;
• Bachelor degree in Journalism skills or related field or used to be trained in journalism, media or communication;
• At least last 3 year’s successful working experience in the position of news reporter on radio/ television/social media;
• Successful experience in producing breaking news, features, interviews, in-depth reports, and international news;
• Being creative, curious, and knowledgeable in a broad range of topics;

• Being agile, serious and interested in important matters;
• Prefer following news, especially about women, gender, youth, children and vulnerable people in society;

• Promote gender equity, the role of women, gender, youth, children and vulnerable people in society;
• Wider understanding of social, economic, cultural, civil and political environment;
• Good interpersonal and written communications skills;

• Loyal to work, teamwork, love and promote social justice;
• Use Khmer language clearly both speaking, writing, reading and listening;

• Proficiency in English and able to understand the news content of news agency correctly;
• Good computer literacy in MS Office programs, Khmer Unicode and Adobe Audition;
• Effective use of social media networks, internet and email for research;
• Able to work overtime, on holiday or on weekend, to travel to the provinces, and to attend workshop/training when required;
• Interested in working to develop independent and professional media, and to empower gender equality in Cambodia.
